Our training department understands that relevant and regular training instils confidence in the individual's decision-making process, especially whilst operating under pressure. Longmoor Training understands that this is of paramount importance in preparing to meet modern security threats.

All of the courses that Longmoor offer have been accredited by either Buckinghamshire New University or Aset. Longmoor Group are able, through the certified awarding body, to accept MOD Enhanced Learning Credits. MOD ELC funding is available for those people wishing to pursue higher level learning.

Security Training Facilities

Longmoor Group has access to training facilities situated in the U.K and abroad. We can provide the most realistic security training possible for all of our clients. Due to UK Legislation our firearms course is run in Slovenia. This ensures we can train our pupils to the highest standard possible without having restrictions. We keep the number of pupils to a minimum meaning the tutor can train more effectively. In doing this we have achieved a 100% pass rate on many of our security training courses.

Coverage

We have offices in the U.K, Malaysia and South Africa. This ensures as a client, no matter where you are in the world; we can help with all of your security training needs. Each office and training facility has their own special areas of training. For example, our South African Office lends itself well to Close Protection training and other high level security training.

Our Instructors

All of our instructors and personnel are specially selected for each area of training; whether it is security driver training, close protection training or firearms training. All of our instructors have served with the Royal Military Police, UK Police or have been trained on one of our specialist security training courses. All instructors are trained above the national and European requirement

Security Driver Training

Along with our regular training courses, we offer specialised courses such as security driver training. Security driver training is designed for anyone; whether it is a security employee or family member who wants to learn how to drive in a protective manner.

Our security driver training course is held in the U.K, and is taught by UK Police qualified advanced drivers. This ensures our pupils get the most up-to-date, advanced security driver training possible. The security driver training course is aimed at drivers wishing to enhance their skills, in a protective driver role. Making the driver more aware of his/her surroundings and avoiding danger wherever possible. We currently train members of foreign governments in protective driving and have the ability to take this and any other of our security training courses anywhere in the world.
